1. 8one8 Brewing

Canoga Park, CA

Located in the San Fernando Valley, 8one8 Brewing is focused on creating approachable, true-to-style beer. Visitors to the website can find updated operations information, view the latest beer menus powered by Untappd, order six-packs for on-site pickup and even inquire about jobs.

2. Secatogue Brewing Co.

West Islip, NY

Secatogue Brewing Co., located in West Islip, NY, is a craft brewery and on-site tasting room. For Long Islanders, Secatogue is a refuge for tasting a rotation of new brews in a vibrant space. The website reflects this with beautiful imagery of their oceanic-themed tasting room. For guests who are interested in enjoying Secatogue at home, the brewery offers the ability to order four-packs, growlers and more, directly online for pickup.

3. Pedals & Pints Brewing Company

Thousand Oaks, CA

Pedals & Pints is a local community pub, brewing their own specialty ales in Thousand Oaks, CA. Loyal fans of the brewery can visit their site to view the latest menus, new events at the space and sign up for their free rewards program which offers $5 cash-back on their next visit.

4. Big Buck Brewery

Gaylord, MI

Well-known in the Gaylord, Michigan community, Big Buck Brewery was taken over in 2018 by Cathy and Shawn Smalley, longtime homebrewers, with a vision to make the brewery better than ever. Part of that vision includes a website that highlights all that Big Buck Brewery has to offer. Guests can check out live music schedules, inquire about private and catered events, purchase gift cards and an assortment of merch like t-shirts, hoodies and pint glasses.  

5. Bearded Owl Brewing

Peoria, IL

Located just off the Illinois river in the city of Peoria, Bearded Owl Brewing offers its guests prairie-inspired handcrafted ales, alongside a menu of pizza and bavarian pretzels. The “Origin Story” featured on the website, tells a rich narrative of how Bearded Owl Brewing got its name upon finding a Great Horned Owl in an abandoned barn on a father and son camping trip. The website design evokes this narrative with an earth-toned color scheme, an illustrated evergreen silhouette in the footer navigation and clever animation of skeletons drinking beer next to a fire.

6. Ike & Oak Brewing

Woodridge, IL

Ike & Oak Brewing Co. is a brewpub based out of Woodridge, Illinois serving handcrafted brews and artisan pizzas. Their branding and logo are front and center, making this website fun and informative. A highlighted “Gift Cards” tab in the main navigation calls for visitors to purchase digital gift cards—optimizing the website to drive revenue online.

7. Talea Beer

New York City

Talea Beer Co. is a women-founded & women-led craft brewery in New York City. Their shared vision was to create a beer company that speaks to women. Their eclectic and colorful website draws visitors in to learn more about their offerings, while a robust press page features write-ups from clouted sources such as Forbes, The New York Times and Wine Enthusiast.  

8. Roosters Brewing Co.

Ogden, UT

Roosters Brewing Co. is based out of Ogden, Utah with two restaurants and a taproom in the area as well. Their website showcases fun branding and makes it easy for guests to find contact and location information through a one-click-to Google Maps feature. Guests can easily find their beer through an interactive map locator embedded by the BentoBox team.

9. Riverside Brewing Co.

Cambridge Springs, PA

This Pennsylvania-based brewery chose a simple, but effective layout with a carousel of high-resolution images that show off their brewery and restaurant best. Entertainment is key to a good time. Riverside Brewing Co. has a robust page dedicated to upcoming events so that guests are up to date on the latest happenings. Taking it one step further, they added an inquiry form for local musicians who are interested in performing to fill out, keeping the good times and beer flowing.

10. New Holland Brewing Co.

Grand Rapids, MI

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, New Holland Brewing Co. is a great example of how brewery websites should look and function, displaying graphics and colors that are true to their brand. We can’t help but love their merch shop where champions of their brand can shop for mugs, apparel and even memberships to their “mug club.”

11. Big Ash Brewing

Cincinnati, OH

Big Ash Brewing started in the basement of founder Dave Emery’s home with 25 friends and $200 each. Years later it would turn into a full brewery operation in Cincinnati, Ohio. They credit the community for their success, so to give back, the brewery opted to have a page dedicated to donation requests.

12. Moody Tongue

What else can we say? This website is simply stunning. The branding, typography and photography establish a cohesive message: sophisticated, yet approachable. At Moody Tongue, their philosophy of brewing beer comes from a chef’s mindset: highlighted flavors, aromatics and balance. The brewery also is home to a fine-dining experience with nine-time Michelin-starred Executive Chef Jared Wentworth at the helm. Yes, please!

13. Gild Brewing

Missoula, MT

Established in Missoula, Montana, Gild Brewing is a destination for those who value community, quality and knowing where their food and drink come from. Their website showcases a plethora of events such as live music and community pint nights. Illustrated borders add to the website’s unique character while a sticky “Store” button pushes guests to easily purchase merch and more when viewing on a mobile device.  

14. Canyon Club Brewery

Moraga, CA

Located in Moraga, California just outside of San Francisco, Canyon Club Brewery prides itself on being “The Third Place” — the place apart from your home and work where people exchange ideas, have a good time and build relationships. Their website emulates this idealogy through a cohesive online experience—all with an embedded events calendar, even a page dedicated to purchasing tickets to events directly through their website. Canyon Club Brewery takes “The Third Place” idealogy and continues that online.  

15. 1940s Brewing Company

Holbrook, NY

1940’s Brewing Co. in Holbrook, New York is an homage to the very year that Owner Charles Becker’s father graduated from brewing academy and dedicated his career to the craft. The brewery’s branding exhibits this nostalgic and rustic identity. This website stands out to us through its use of a side navigation bar and strong call-to-action buttons to view what’s on tap and the chance to sign up for their newsletter.
